Perfect Post Workout Smoothie
You’ve just finished your workout and changed out of your LA Nation squat proof leggings and put on a nice soft hoody. It’s time to relax.
Most importantly though, it’s time to replenish the water and nutrients you’ve lost during your workout. One of the quickest, easiest and tastiest ways to do this is with a smoothie.
The beauty of having a smoothie after your workout is that it can be whatever you want it to be. You can choose your favourite ingredients and even add a scoop or two of protein powder to aid your recovery.
A good mixture of carbs and protein will help to refuel you for the rest of your day.
A delicious smoothie for after your workout.
Time: 5 mins
Serves: 1
What you’ll need:
- 1 banana
- 3 strawberries
- 250ml milk (your choice)
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 3 ice cubes
How to make it:
- Add all ingredients into a blender
- Put the lid on and blend until smooth
- Serve in glass or shaker of your choice
- Enjoy!
